Course Overview

“I am anxious” is something we often say. But anxiety is something you experience, it is not who you are. This journey helps you reclaim your identity, remember the deeper Self, and live with greater awareness, calm & freedom.

Anxiety is one of the most common challenges of our time. It hijacks the nervous system, narrows the window of tolerance, and clouds our sense of who we really are. This course offers a pathway back to balance - combining practical tools from psychology with the timeless wisdom of Yoga and Vedanta. This is more than a course. It is a journey into practical wisdom and Self-awareness, where knowledge and embodied practice come together to create lasting change.

Why an 8-week journey (not just a single class)?

A one-off breathwork session or a short anxiety workshop can give temporary relief - but real change comes from study, practice, and repetition (skill in action). This course is designed as an immersive 8-week journey that helps you:

1.      Build practical reflexes for calm
Through regular practice, tools such as breathwork, movement, and self-inquiry shift from being “techniques you try” into automatic responses your nervous system can call on in moments of stress. Instead of reacting, you’ll learn how to pause, notice, and respond with skill.
2.      Develop embodied self-awareness
You’ll learn how to tune into your body’s signals- learning to identify the somatic sensations of anxiety and panic as they arise. This awareness allows you to catch the early signs of stress and gently regulate your system before it overwhelms you.
3.      Journey in community
You won’t be doing this alone. Each week, you’ll be learning and practicing alongside others who share this path. Together, we create a supportive container - guided by your teacher — where transformation is deepened through community. This journey in community fosters a sense of belonging and shared understanding, offering support and connection for those who live with anxiety. In addition, there will be opportunities for Q&A during sessions.
4.      Personalised support
Participants will also have the option of a personalised session to refine and tailor practices to their individual needs, recognising that anxiety presents differently for each person.

This is more than information — it’s embodied wisdom
When we identify with anxiety, we often say “I am anxious.” The name of this course — My Name Is Not Anxious — invites you to step back from that identification. Anxiety is an experience, not your identity. This journey helps you reconnect with the deeper Self beneath the symptoms and discover a freer way of living.
