Vedic Immersion Retreat
8 - 12 October 2026 (4 nights)
Amarant Retreat Centre, Yarra Valley, Victoria
Step away from daily life and immerse yourself in the practices, rhythms, and wisdom of the Vedic tradition.
The Vedic Immersion Retreat is a four-night retreat in the Yarra Valley, offering yoga, Vedic Meditation, mantra initiation, rounding, Ayurvedic vegetarian food, mantra chanting, rest, and Vedic knowledge.
This retreat is for both new students wishing to learn Vedic Meditation and receive mantra initiation, and existing meditators who wish to deepen their practice through rounding, knowledge, rest, and immersion in Vedic lifestyle.
Held in the peaceful surrounds of Amarant Retreat Centre, this is a contained and intimate retreat designed to help you reset, restore, and reconnect with a more natural rhythm of living.
This retreat is offered as a gentle, grounded introduction to Vedānta for those who feel called to begin — or deepen — their understanding of these teachings in a simple, embodied way.
During these four nights and five days, we will practise yoga, meditate together, study the introductory teachings of Vedānta, and live a traditional Ayurvedic lifestyle. Over this time in residence, we will study a foundational Vedāntic text, contemplate its meaning, engage in shared inquiry and discussion, and rest in meditation.
A Retreat for Meditators and Those Ready to Learn
This retreat is open to both:
Those who are already initiated into Vedic Meditation and wish to deepen their practice through rounding, knowledge, rest, and immersion in Vedic lifestyle.
Those who feel called to learn Vedic Meditation and receive mantra initiation within a supportive retreat environment.
For those who are new to Vedic Meditation, the retreat offers the ideal setting to learn: away from everyday demands, surrounded by nature, held in a peaceful rhythm, and supported by daily practice and knowledge.
For those who already meditate, this is an opportunity to go deeper through rounding, extended rest, group practice, and immersion in the wider Vedic way of life.
